Refilling Component Reels - Splicing of wide carrier tapes :

Splicing of wide carrier tapes
Handle wide tapes the same way.
1. Place the end of the carrier tape over half of the rivet
and close the lock
2. First splice one side as previously described. Use a
wide adhesive strip!
3. Next lay a new rivet in the tape splicing tool and splice
the other side

2. Top side of a feeder tape (8mm)
3. Bottom side of a feeder tape (8mm)
