1 Introduction
Introduction
This manual provides technical information and describes how to operate the SIPLACE JTF-MW JEDEC
tray feeder in machines of the SIPLACE® E series efficiently and safely.

1.1 Module Description
Module Description
The SIPLACE JTF-MW is an automatic and fast changer for standard JEDEC waffle pack trays .On
SIPLACE E machines, a JTF-MW tray feeder can be installed on a changeover table. The SIPLACE
JTF-MW occupies a fixed area of tracks on the changeover table.
The SIPLACE JTF-MW stores up to 30 JEDEC waffle pack trays in a cassette and supplies them as re-
quired.
The placement machine can therefore be supplied with different component types at variable changeo-
ver times.

Warranty
The user shall report claims immediately within two weeks to the manufacturer.
The user shall provide all evidences and carries all the burden of proof.
In case of a defect ASM has the right to deliver replacement or to rework. ASM has the right to refuse a
demand from user if this high costs are involved.
Usually the warranty term is 12 months on parts starting with delivery. No compensation is granted from
ASM.

Correct Usage
The product may only be used for the application cases described in the catalogues and technical spec-
ifications i.e. for placement of SMD components and only in connection with the third party devices and
components recommended or approved by SIPLACE.
Any other use is deemed to be incorrect and not as prescribed.
If the product is not used as prescribed, SIPLACE will accept no liability for any damage that may occur
and will not guarantee that the components will work properly and without problems.
Prescribed or correct usage includes the observance of all the instructions in the user manual.
The proper and safe operation of the product requires correct transportation, storage, installation and
assembly, plus careful, accurate utilization and servicing.

Incorrect Usage
Failure to use the product as prescribed can result in both danger to life and limb and material damage.
For this reason, non-prescribed usage is prohibited. If the product is not used as prescribed, ASM As-
sembly Systems GmbH & Co. KG will not accept liability for any damage that may occur and will not
guarantee that the components will work properly and without problems.
Non-prescribed use of the module includes the following examples:
Operation of the module with safety equipment deactivated or removed.
Placement of components that do not meet the permitted specification.
Use of unauthorized accessories and additional modules.
Use of the module by unqualified personnel.

All SIPLACE products are designed and tested for professional use in industrial applications. Electro-
magnetic compatibility in terms of the emission of interference cannot be guaranteed in any other envi-

Use of Original SIPLACE Accessories and Spare Parts
Only use original spare parts and authorized accessories. The use of other parts will affect safety and
will invalidate the liability for any consequential damage.
