Correct Usage
The product may only be used for the application cases described in the catalogues and technical spec-
ifications i.e. for placement of SMD components and only in connection with the third party devices and
components recommended or approved by SIPLACE.
Any other use is deemed to be incorrect and not as prescribed.
If the product is not used as prescribed, SIPLACE will accept no liability for any damage that may occur
and will not guarantee that the components will work properly and without problems.
Prescribed or correct usage includes the observance of all the instructions in the user manual.
The proper and safe operation of the product requires correct transportation, storage, installation and
assembly, plus careful, accurate utilization and servicing.

Failure to use the product as prescribed can result in both danger to life and limb and material damage.
For this reason, non-prescribed usage is prohibited. If the product is not used as prescribed, ASM As-
sembly Systems GmbH & Co. KG will not accept liability for any damage that may occur and will not
guarantee that the components will work properly and without problems.
Non-prescribed use of the module includes the following examples:
Operation of the module with safety equipment deactivated or removed.
Placement of components that do not meet the permitted specification.
Use of unauthorized accessories and additional modules.
Use of the module by unqualified personnel.

magnetic compatibility in terms of the emission of interference cannot be guaranteed in any other envi-

Only use original spare parts and authorized accessories. The use of other parts will affect safety and

This user manual contains basic information that must be observed for a safe and efficient handling of
the feeder.
The service engineers, qualified staff, operators and users must therefore read it before commencing
installation and commissioning. The instructions must be kept permanently accessible wherever the ma-
chine is used.
In addition, the user must ensure that the employees have fully understood the contents of the user man-
ual.
Images are made for proper understanding and can differ slightly to the real environment.
Further Applicable Documents
This feeder shall be installed on a platform (Pick&Placer, Handler, Tester, customer etc.) or any other
host machine. For the use of that also the manual of the host machine must be read and understood.
