: Loosen the screw(s) on the hose clip(s) and keep them both on one side (see photograph).
: Loosen the clamp for the compressed air hoses and detach the hoses.

: Remove the cover from the large axis conversion board (see photograph).
: Detach all the connectors from the board.

: Remove the three pins of the strain relief using a suitable tool (e.g. grooved hammer head).

Do not use pliers to do this, otherwise the surface of the fixing pins or the ribbon cable might be
damaged. 2

: Remove the 3 cable clamp on the gantry arm.

: Loosen the fixing screws for the head board and lift the board away from the locating pins. The
cables on the top of the board can remain plugged in.

: Unplug all the cables on the underside of the head board.
Note which cables are allocated to which connectors for when you fit the new cable set.

Unscrew the head board
Disconnect the cables
