: Remove the three pins of the strain relief using a suitable tool (e.g. grooved hammer head).

Do not use pliers to do this, otherwise the surface of the fixing pins or the ribbon cable might be
damaged. 2

: Remove the 3 cable clamp on the gantry arm.

: Loosen the fixing screws for the head board and lift the board away from the locating pins. The
cables on the top of the board can remain plugged in.

: Unplug all the cables on the underside of the head board.
Note which cables are allocated to which connectors for when you fit the new cable set.

The following step may be omitted if the air hoses do not have to be replaced. 2

: Detach the compressed air hoses on the vacuum generator for the placement head.
Hoses 1 and 2 are not connected on the S machines.
Note which hose is allocated to which connector so that you can reattach them correctly.
