vacuum request component picked up?
(return OK) Enables start signal for gantry axes
Communication to component table:
„close feeder flap“ and stroke feeder
Z-axis end signal (Z-axis on 0-position DP-station swiveled off):

6.3.27 Z-axis down special mode “vacuum in upper position”
Fig. 6.3 - 24 Z-axis downwards special mode “vacuum ON in upper position”
6.3.27.1 Advantage of special mode "early vacuum"
This "early vacuum" offer you:
increased pickup reliability with tiny nozzles like 911/ 904. At Z-axis travel time the vacuum in-
crease in our nozzlet; because only less air flow in at top of the nozzle. The vacuum inside the
nozzle is higher when the Z-Axis start to accelerate upwards.
No delay compared to the standard pickup cycle.
Attention: If we use this for large nozzles the placement head get more dust inside without any
benefits on a better vacuum.

6.3.28 Pick up sequence with slow start Z-axis upwards
Special mode “reduced acceleration" on Z-axis for machines with SC/MC 407
start slow handling mode for machines with SC/MC 503 and higher.
Fig. 6.3 - 25 Pick up sequence detailed Z-axis upwards with a slow start.
LB bottom switches:
- end signal positioning Z-axis down; both actions finished? (switched to vacuum and end signal
Z-axis)
- Start signal to move up
Z-axis started:
- positioning Z-axis upwards
- special mode the first 1mm with start speed.
- This last ~20 ms and at this time the vacuum inside the nozzle increase up to the maximum.
LB above:
- reset LB bottom signal
- 1st vacuum request component picked up?
- Enable start for gantry axes
communication to component table:
- all feeders in this special mode2: „close feeder flap“ and stroke feeder
Z-axis end signal (Z-axis on 0-position & DP-station swiveled off):
- 2nd vacuum request component picked up?
- Enable start for star-axis
