► Switch the Glue Feeder on:
Push the Glue Feeder into the X-FCU or switch the power supply on for the SSE.
ð The calibration is started and performed automatically by the eSW.
The status display at the back end of the feeder modules will flash alternatively green and
orange, when the calibration has finished.
While the calibration is still in progress or as long as the calibration device is attached to
the heating cable, the eSW will not continue with normal operations.
► Switch the Glue Feeder off again:
If using an X-FCU, pull the Glue Feeder back again from the FCU or, if using an SSE, switch
the power supply of the SSE off.
► Unplug the heating cable from the calibration device and reconnect it to the nozzle heating.
ð The calibration sequence has been completed and you can use the Glue Feeder for nor-
mal operation again.

WARNING
Protective clothing
Wear your personal protective clothing (protective goggles and gloves) for all work using or
on the Glue Feeder.
5.1 Maintenance Kit
To clean and service the Glue Feeder, use the service kit for Glue Feeder dispenser, item no.
03095882-xx. All service kit parts can be ordered separately.
The service kit contains the following items:
1. 10 cleansing tissues, KM wipe, item no. 03082092-xx
2. Turmotemp II/400 CL 2 (0.5g grease for O-ring NBR inner), item no. 03095880-xx
3. Kluebersynth AR 34-401 (special grease for actuator O-rings), item no. 03102068-xx
4. Double wrench, small size 8, item no. 03095872-xx
5. Antistatic tweezers, item no. 00377394-xx
