Remedy: Make sure that the tape has not been cut and that the automatic tape supply unit has not been

removed.

Cause: (1) There is a possibility that the position where the step slide axis is currently located might

interfere with a pallet loading or unloading. (2)The combination of the step slide pin and the step slide

axis being unclamped prohibits inching. (3) The process is prohibited because the step slide pin is

engaged.

Remedy: (1), (3) When automatic operation is restarted following the clearing of an emergency stop

during index motion, there is a possibility that the step slide might interfere with a pallet loading or

unloading.

It is because of this that the SS-axis must be moved to a safe position. If at this time, the step slide is

clamped to the pallet, the SS-axis and the entire pallet are moved together. Be careful that the pallet

position is not out of place because, if it is, operation cannot be restarted. Generally though, unclamp the

pallet and move just the SS-axis.

1. If the pallet is clamped, set Y04F: SS_PLT_UNCLAMP1 and Y061: SS_PLT_UNCLAMP2 to ON and

unclamp the pallet.

2. Set Y063: SS_PIN_OFF to ON and disengage the SS-axis pin.

3. Check that the X06B: SS_PIN_OFF setting and the X066: SS_PLT_UNCLAMP setting is ON.

Remedy: Execute PLT CHANGE and try initiation again. When changing pallets, remove only the pallet

located in the front. It is possible to re-execute initiation without removing the pallet located in the rear

(the return conveyor side).

Cause: Vision processing was not completed within the set time. The time out duration depends on the

content of vision processing.

Remedy: If the error LED of the vision processing board VP4100/4800 is on, the board may be defective.

If the same error occurs when operation is resumed, restart the machine. If the placing head is holding

parts, first dump the parts and then restart the machine.
