SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
When the Power Off ICON, or File, then Stop Running Process is
selected, the oven begins the shutdown procedure. The heaters are turned off, the
conveyor and cell fans continue to run.
The status bar will display:
SHUTDOWN
When the oven has entered shutdown, or when the oven is first powered up, a
procedure called SHUTDOWN is executed. (This procedure cannot be modified by
the user) During SHUTDOWN, the cell fans are enabled and the conveyor runs at
maximum speed. The red light on the light tower is on.
When the temperatures of all cells are below 100 degrees C, the oven enters the
OFF state. The status bar indicates:
OFF
The cell fans and the conveyor stop. The red light on the light tower, and the red
light on the operator panel are on.
While the oven is in an OFF state, if any cell temperature goes above 100 deg C,
the oven will re-enter the SHUTDOWN procedure , the Oven will go into “Alarm”
and the Cell fans will run.
WARNING
WHEN THE OVEN IS "OFF", THE ELECTRICAL POWER IS STILL PRESENT
IN THE OVEN AND REMAINS A PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD
WHICH CAN RESULT IN
RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH !!!!!

recipe. See Oven Status Bar.
COUNTDOWN
The oven has stabilized and is in a "final countdown
delay" before going to "process ready".
READY
The oven is "process ready".
WARNING
A process variable is outside limits. See Alarm/Event Log
CRITICAL WARNING
A process variable is outside limits. See Alarm/Event Log
ALARM
A process variable is outside limits. See Alarm/Event Log
CRITICAL ALARM
A process variable is outside limits. See Alarm/Event Log
The alarm operations are defined:
Convection Low: A cell fan(s) has stopped or Inverter failure
Rail Width: Rail width position is outside the acceptable tolerance.
Board Jam: A space was NOT detected between boards where a
space was expected (or not transferred at Offload).
Hood Open: The hood is open. (The main Process Tunnel Hood)
IAS: A cell is above a preset temperature
measured by the Heater Cell thermocouple(s)
or: the IAS Unit detected a temperature alarm condition,
or: a High Temperature Switch has opened.
This is only a partial list of Alarms , See “Alarm / Event

ALARM / EVENT MESSAGES
Information about changes in oven status, alarms, set points and filing
updates are recorded and displayed (in the order of occurrence) in the Event
& Alarm log displayed at the bottom of the screen. A message will start with
"Alarm:" (or “Warning”) if some value critical to the operation of the oven is
outside of “expected range”, or
"Event:" if some normal operator action has occurred.
Only the last Four system messages are displayed at the Oven Status Bar,
however, at the Pull-Down Menu, (or double-click on the messages)…
selecting Log, View, then Alarm Log will display an Alarm Log Dialogue
Box which has the option of displaying the Alarms and Events Log for the
Month.
The following alarm messages are in order of priority with the most serious listed first.
They are set by the Oven Operating Program & cannot be modified or disabled.

CONVECTION LOW.............................There is a problem with one or more
convection fans.
GAS PRESSURE LOW........................The gas pressure is below switch setpoint and too
low to maintain the gas atmosphere in the tunnel.
SOME “STATUS MESSAGES” MAY NOT EXIST DEPENDING ON OPTIONS
GAS ON/OFF........................................The gas main gas valve is open/closed.
COOLANT ON/OFF..............................The enhanced cool cell coolant is
allowed to circulate.
