There is a PLC self checking function and the software can show the error codes. Refer to
the following table to perform troubleshooting.
ERR. CODE DESCRIPTION STEPS TO TAKE
E 01
A Program with a syntax error has
been written
Change to PROG. mode and correct
the error
E 02
Two or more OT (OUT) instructions
and KP(Keep) instructions are
programmed using the same relay.
Change to PROG. mode and correct
the program so that one relay is not
used for two or more OT instructions
and KP instructions. Or set the
duplicated output to “enable (K1)” in
system register20.
E 03
For instructions which must be used in
a pair such as jump (JP and LBL), one
instruction is either missing or in an
incorrect position.
Change to PROG. mode and enter the
two instructions which must be used in
a pair in the correct positions.
E 04
An instruction has been written which
does not agree with system register
settings. For example, the number
setting in a program does not agree
with the timer/counter range setting.
Change to PROG. mode, check the
system register settings, and change
so that the settings and the instruction
agree.

ERR. CODE DESCRIPTION STEPS TO TAKE
E 05
An instruction which must be written to
a specific area (main program area or
subprogram area) has been written to
a different area.
Change to PROG. mode and enter the
instruction into the correct area.
E 08
There is an incorrect operand in an
instruction which requires specific
combination operands (for example,
the operands must all be of a certain
type).
Enter the correct combination of
operands.

E 27
Intelligent units installed exceed the
limitations(i.e., 4 or more link units)
Turn off the power and re-configure
intelligent units referring to the
hardware manual.
E 28
System register error
Check the system register setting or
initialize the system registers.
E 29
System bus time out error. Available
PLC FP2.
Please contact your dealer.
E 30
Interrupt error 0.
A hardware problem or error due to
noise is possible. Turn off the power
and check the noise conditions.
E 31
Interrupt error 1. An interrupt occurred
without an interrupt request.
A hardware problem or error due to
noise is possible. Turn off the power
and check the noise conditions.
E 32
Interrupt error 2. An interrupt occurred
without an interrupt request.
A hardware problem or error due to
noise is possible. Turn off the power
and check the noise conditions.
E 34
I/O status error
Check the contents of special data
register DT90036 and locate the
abnormal unit. Then turn off the power
and replace the unit with new one.
E 35
A unit, which cannot be installed on
the slave station of the MEWNET-F
link system, is installed on the slave
station.
Remove the illegal unit from the slave
station.
E 36
The number of slots or I/O points used
for MEWNET-F exceeds the limitation.
Re-configure the system so that the
number of slots and I/O points is
within the specified range.
