CAUTION: Risk of injury from compressed air!
Risk of injury when disconnecting the compressed air lines.
X NEVER disconnect compressed air lines while they are still pressurized.
ATTENTION: Prolonged interruptions to the compressed air supply can cause damage.
When the machine is switched on, do not use the stop valve to interrupt the compressed air
supply for more than 30 minutes.
X If you need to shut off the compressed air system for longer, in order to carry out maintenance
or servicing work, you must switch the placement system off at the main switch and
disconnect it from the power supply.
WARNING: STRONG MAGNETIC FIELDS
Fatal hazard: persons with active implants (e.g. pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps etc.)
are at risk from strong permanent magnetic fields inside the machine.
Persons are risk should avoid the immediate vicinity of the machine.
CAUTION: DANGER OF CRUSHING
Risk of crushing/trapping for persons with passive metal implants (e.g. plates, screws).
X Do not reach or lean over into the machine when the protective cover is open.
X Do not bring any metal objects into the area.
ATTENTION: STRONG MAGNETIC FIELDS
There is a risk that the strong magnetic fields could corrupt data on data media or credit
controller boards and check controller boards.
X Keep sensitive data carriers away from the permanent magnets.

3 Replacing Spare Parts
3.1 Safety Instructions
Preparations for service work
X Finish all placement operations at the SIPLACE machine.
X Switch the WPC4 off at the main switch.
X Carefully move the WPC4 out of the SIPLACE machine.
X Disconnect the WPC4 from the power supply.
WARNING: Nonobservance increases the risk of injury and/or damage to the machine!
The service work described in this manual may only be performed by specially trained service
technicians, with the appropriate additional qualifications and skills.
X Observe the safety instructions for the SIPLACE D1/D2, during all service work.
ATTENTION: Never open screws which have been sealed with locking varnish.
If screws sealed with locking varnish are opened, the assembly concerned will require extensive
readjustment.
X Only loosen screws sealed with locking varnish if the instructions in this manual explicitly ask
you to do so.
X If you open screws sealed with locking varnish without express instructions to do so, the
WPC4 must be taken to Siemens AG for readjustment.
