2.1. Nozzle
Inspection
Check the nozzle to see if an excessive wear occurs or if the tip of the nozzle has
been altered due to impact. In addition, check to see if any contamination, such as
solder paste is clogging the nozzle.
Touch nozzle with a finger to check if the nozzle spring work well.
Solution
Clean the nozzle with cleaning liquid in case of contamination, or replace the nozzle if an
excessive wear was detected.
Execute the ANC dialog box and click the <Put All Nozzle> button to keep all
nozzles that are mounted on the heads in the ANC.
Operate the teaching box to move the Front X Frame Assembly to the rear side as far
as possible so that front and rear head assemblies do not interfere with each other.

Press “Motor Free” in the teaching box to turn off the power supply to the motor.

Warning
After clicking the “Motor Free” button on the teaching box,
click the “Stop” and “Reset” buttons on the front operation
panel. Conduct inspection while the motor power supply is
turned off.
Open the ANC shutter, take out the nozzles in the ANC holes and clean them
manually.
Caution
Before removing the ANC nozzle manually, be sure to
remember the nozzle arrangement. After completion of
cleaning, the nozzle must be arranged at the ANC in the
same manner as it was prior to being cleaned.
Removing contaminant on the nozzle hole
Insert the pin through the nozzle in the radial direction.
Spray the recommended cleaning liquid on the nozzle hole by using a spray straw
After 1 minute, blow out the cleaning liquid from the tip of the nozzle by using
air pressure.
Blow out all the cleaning liquid from the nozzle hole.
If the contaminant is not removed by above method, repeat it once more.
If the contaminant still remains, contact the local agent.
Removing contaminant from the wings and tip of the nozzle
Damp a piece of cloth with the recommended cleaning liquid by using a spray
straw.
Wipe the wings or tip of the nozzle with the dampened cloth.
Wipe off all cleaning liquid with a piece of clean cloth.
If the contaminant is not removed by above method, repeat it once more.
If the contaminant still remains, contact the local agent.
