4.2. Lubrication and Grease Application
Caution
It may shorten the average life span of a machine if grease
not specified by our company is applied on the machine.
Use the grease specified by our company.
4.2.1. Head
Inspection
Check the Ball Spline or the rail for discoloration or dust.
Noise may be generated if the lubricant has become too dry. Therefore, check the
state of lubrication.

Operate the teaching box to move the head assembly to the front side as far as
possible.

Warning
After clicking the “Motor Free” button on the teaching box,
click the “Stop” button on the front operation panel.
Conduct inspection while the motor power supply is turned
off.
When the working area is insufficient, move the head assembly to the rear side
manually.
Remove dust and foreign matter using the clean cloth in the cleaning kit supplied by
us and if necessary, apply grease thinly on the ball spline and rail surface using the
one way brush.
4.2.2. X-Y Frame
4.2.2.1. X-axis L/M Guide Rail, Ball Screw
Inspection
Check the LM Guide Rail and the Ball Screw for discoloration or dust.
Check the lubricants on the LM Guide Rail and the Ball Screw. Insufficient lubricants
on the LM Guide Rail and the Ball Screw could cause unusual noise during operation
of the machine.

Solution
