1.2 Preparation for Maintenance
1.2.1 Preparation for Cleaning
Prepare the following items for cleaning.
• Brush
Use a brush whose bristles do not come off if possible.
• Cotton Swab
Use a normal cotton swab on the market.
• Rag
Use a rag (cotton, etc.) which does not produce as less waste thread
as possible. Otherwise, the machine will break down due to the re-
maining waste thread.
A clean rag is also required, depending on the spots to be cleaned.
• Oiled Rag
Use a rag (cotton, etc.) which does not produce as less waste thread
as possible. Otherwise, the machine will break down due to the re-
maining waste thread.
Note: Do not apply too much oil to the rag. The oil should not be
mixed with another type.
• Air Gun
Do not use the air gun for any spots other than the specified ones.
If dirt and dust are dispersed, they adhere to various sensors and
moving parts, causing the machine to break down.
• Vacuum Cleaner
If the suction hole of the vacuum cleaner is changed to a smaller one,
some spots can be cleaned more easily.
• Vacuum Tweezers
Use a normal vacuum tweezers on the market.
1.2.2 Preparation for Lubrication
Prepare the specified grease and items for lubrication.
• Specified Grease
Refer to "(1) Grease" for details.
Before lubrication, wipe off the old grease. Otherwise, the effect of
grease will decrease.
• Specified Items for Lubrication
Refer to "(2) Brush", "(3) Vinyl Gloves", "(4) Grease Applicator", and
"(5) Hand Grease Gun KH120" for details.
