6.8.1.1 Go to WPC Filling Position

With the function "Go to WPC fill. posn." the wafflepack changer is positioned such that all wafflepack maga-
zines can be removed comfortably.
To call this function proceed as follows:
●
In the menu "WPC functions" with the aid of the
cursor keys
position the cursor bar over the menu item "Go
to WPC fill. posn.".
●
Press the
Return key
. A wafflepack which is in active use will be returned to its defined level. The lift of the
wafflepack changer travels to the refill position. Wafflepack magazines can now be refilled.
6.8.1.2 End WPC Filling Position
●
In the menu "WPC functions" with the aid of the
cursor keys
position the cursor bar over the menu item
"End WPC fill. posn.".
●
Press the
Return key
. All wafflepack magazines specified in the set-up are approached and a check is
made to see whether they are actually present. At the same time the wafflepack magazines are aligned.
Missing wafflepack magazines which are called for in the set-up are then displayed in the menu window.

6.8.1.3 Fill Magazine Carrier
With the function "Fill magazine carrier" the current set-up of the wafflepack changer can be displayed.
To call this function proceed as follows:
●
In the menu "WPC functions" position the cursor bar with the aid of the
cursor keys
over the menu item "Fill
magazine carrier".
●
Press the
Return key
. The screen then displays the menu "Fill magazine carrier".

The menu displays how many components are present on which levels.
A new filling level can be input for each level individually.
●
With the cursor bar select the level which you want to fill.
●
Confirm your selection with the
return key
. The input window "New fill. level" appears in the menu window.
This input window already shows the maximum filling level for the level selected.
●
You can input the filling level yourself for the level selected or you can accept the specified maximum filling
level. Confirm your selection with the
return key
.
Press the
Esc key
if you want to quit the menu "Fill magazine carrier" without making an entry or selecting a
function.
NOTE
You cannot type in more than the specified maximum fill level.
Inputting a new fill level will set an empty track back to "full".
If 0 is typed in as fill level no components will be picked up any longer from this magazine carrier.

6.8.1.4 Set Wafflepack Changer Full
With the function "Set WPC full" all wafflepack magazines of the wafflepack changer which are defined in the
set-up can be set to "full".
To call this function proceed as follows:
●
In the menu "WPC functions" position the cursor bar over the menu item "Set WPC full" with the aid of the
cursor keys
.
●
Press the
Return key
. All defined wafflepack magazines which are recognized as being "empty" are set to
"full".
●
Press the
start key
. Placement is continued using these filled magazine trays.
In this connection see also Section 5.4 "Component Handling".
6.8.1.5 Furnish level
With the function "Furnish level" wafflepack magazines from different levels can be made available.
To call this function proceed as follows:
●
In the menu "WPC functions" position the cursor bar over the menu item "Furnish level" with the aid of the
cursor keys
.
●
Press the
Return key
. The "Furnish level" menu is displayed on the screen.

Type the number of the level which you wish to make available into the input window "Level".

Press the
Return key
. The wafflepack changer moves this level's wafflepack tray to the pick-up position.
