9.7.2 Maintaining the Wafflepack Changer
The wafflepack changer is maintained in conjunction with every second or fourth scheduled maintenance for
the empty tape cutter, when it is removed from the machine.
NOTE
Always carry out maintenance only after emptying the wafflepack changer or before setting up the wafflepack
changer. When the wafflepack changer is being removed or installed there should not as a rule be any compo-
nents in the magazines as this could easily fall out and cause problems during placement. If the magazines
have not yet been run to empty before maintenance of the wafflepack changer or of the empty tape cutter, use
a waterproof marker pen to mark on the trays the track numbers engraved on the lift before you remove each
tray.
You will need these allocations when you replace the trays later. Now set the tray with magazine down to one
side, but making sure you do not change the rotational position of the magazines in the tray.
