10.3.5 Ink Spot Recognition
The vision system of the SIPLACE G can be used for interrogating ink spots in addition to PCB board position
recognition. The ink spot is a defined fiducial on a board or single circuit.
When necessary (defective board or single circuit) this fiducial is made undetectable. If the machine does not
recognize the ink spot, the board or single circuit in question will not be glued. Ink spots are particularly suit-
able for boards which accommodate multiple identical single circuits.
Once the
line engineer password
has been typed in under the menu "Machine options", ink spot recognition
can beactivated or deactivated.
If ink spot recognition is switched off, all boards will be glued.

10.4 Glueing Adjustments
In the menu "Glueing adjustmts" you can call up and change the glueing parameters and the data of the glue
cleaning pad.
To access the menu item "Glueing adjustmts" proceed as follows:

In the "Main menu" move the cursor bar by means of the
cursor keys
onto the menu item "Glueing adjust-
mts".
●
Press the
Return key
. The menu "Glueing adjustmts" is then shown on the screen.
