Picking up a nozzle

Ejecting defective nozzles

11.1.4 Notes on Operation
Before refilling a magazine for the first time with a particular nozzle type, affix a sticker marked with the
nozzle type in question on the magazine.
NOTE
Only one nozzle type is permitted per magazine!
Fill the magazines outside the machine and only ever change complete magazines.
Open the key plate and insert the nozzles into the nozzle garages.
Close the key plate so that the nozzles will not be able to drop out of the magazines.
Magazines may only be filled when all nozzles of the revolver head have been returned to the magazines.
If you want to execute various functions of the nozzle-changer, see Section 6.3.4 „Nozzle Changer SP“ of
this User's Manual.
For programming the nozzle-changer at the line computer, see the UNIX line computer user's manual.
NOTE
Avoid letting components fall onto magazines. This can lead to the key plate jamming.
Avoid letting components fall onto empty locations (locations are magnetic!). Magazines will not then be able
to be set defined in the location.
Clear magazines and unused locations regularly of components.
11.1.5 Service Notes
Clean the o-ring of the sleeve as described in Section 9.5.10.3 from page 9 - 64 in this user's manual.
NOTE
You must not fail to observe the following concerning care of the o-ring:
It is essential
that the o-ring with Item No. 00310321-01 (white) is greased.
The o-ring with Item No. 00323226-01 (green)
must not be greased
.
The o-ring must be maintained in accordance with the specified frequency of maintenance.

11.1.6 Position Recognition
Each of the magazines holds a position fiducial for position recognition.
