19.1 Error Messages
1 Arm for turning station 1 does not swivel in
CAUSE
Component jammed between pinion and gearwheel; proximity switch incorrectly aligned
in hole; swivel-in mechanism stiff; motor defective; bero defective.
REMEDY
Remove component; adjust sensing distance; carry out maintenance; replace motor.
2 Arm for turning station 1 does not swivel out
CAUSE
Sensing distance incorrect; proximity switch defective; for further faults see fault no. 1.
REMEDY
Adjust sensing distance; for further remedial measures see fault no. 1.
3 D1 axis does not reach setpoint position
CAUSE
Greasy; motor with tacho defective; rotational movement of the sleeve in the segment stiff.
REMEDY
Clean friction wheel; replace motor with tacho and belt wheel and check axis calibration; replace
segment.
6 Arm for turning station 2 does not swivel in
CAUSE
Component jammed between pinion and gearwheel; proximity switch incorrectly aligned
in hole; swivel-in mechanism stiff; motor defective.
REMEDY
Remove component; adjust sensing distance; carry out maintenance; replace motor.
7 Arm for turning station 2 does not swivel out
CAUSE
Sensing distance incorrect; proximity switch defective; for further faults see fault no. 6.
REMEDY
Adjust sensing distance; for further remedial measures see fault no. 6.
8 D2 axis does not reach setpoint position
CAUSE
O-ring drive belt greasy; motor with tacho defective; rotational movement of the sleeve in the seg-
ment stiff.
REMEDY
Clean O-ring and friction wheel; replace motor with tacho and belt wheel and check axis calibration;
replace segment.

16 Segment leaky
CAUSE
O-ring on the sealing piston damaged.
REMEDY
Replace O-ring on the sealing piston.
18 Z axis not reaching placement or pick-up position
CAUSE
Position input not correct; motor/encoder of the z axis defective.
REMEDY
Check parameters for pick-up and placement in the MA_data, redetermine data; replace motor with
encoder, carry out calibration of the z axis. Cam disk not tightened up correctly.
19 Z axis not reaching 0 position
CAUSE
Cam disk not tightened up correctly; z zero point correction value incorrect; counting error.
REMEDY
Tighten up cam disk; recalculate z zero point correction; replace motor/tacho/encoder; carry out axis
calibration.
20 BERO for Z axis top position not activated
CAUSE
Sensing distance too great; Bero defective; cam disk not tightened up correctly; z zero point correc-
tion value incorrect; counting error.
REMEDY
Adjust sensing distance; replace Bero; tighten up cam disk; redetermine z zero point correction;
replace motor/tacho/encoder; carry out axis calibration.
21 BERO SZ1 not released (open segment)
CAUSE
Proximity switch defective; component jammed between screwdriver and segment;
motor of the screwdriver defective.
REMEDY
Replace proximity switch, adjust sensing distance; remove component; check toothing for damage;
replace motor with hub, carry out calibration on the motor control board.
22 BERO SZ1 not released (close segment)
CAUSE
Proximity switch defective; component jammed between screwdriver and segment;
motor of the screwdriver defective; Bero-to-pinion sensing distance incorrectly set.
REMEDY
Replace proximity switch, adjust sensing distance; remove component; check toothing for damage;
replace motor with hub, carry out calibration on the motor control board.
