35. Block the right -hand glass with a piece of paper as shown below.
36. With the glass still blocked, push the lower button

37. Check that “E DGE 2_NG” and “E DGE3_O K” are displayed. Also, che ck that “S2=1 00% ”
and “S3=0%” are displayed.
38. Push the upper and lower buttons together
to reverse the LCD contrast, and then chec k
there are no white areas inside the rectangles. If there are white areas inside the
rectangles, it is necessar y to readjust t he position o f the IPS unit.

40. Push the upper butt on once to sele ct “BACK”.

once to select “CURRENT”.

43. Check the current and gray scale values are within tolerance shown in the following
table.
44. If the gray sc ale value is not close to the t arget v alue of 100, push the lower but ton once
to select “UP” .
45. To increase the v alue, push the lower but t on

46. To decrease the value, push the upper button to select “DOWN”, and then push the lower
button to decrease the value.
47. Once the gray scale value is close to the target value, use the upper button to select
“BACK”.
