8. Manually feed the part and check the pick-up position. To feed the part one pitch,

push the feed lever down in the direction of the arrow as shown. In so doing, the

part is fed one pitch at a time. Confirm that the pick-up position is as shown in the

bottom illustration. Cut the tape that extends past the end of the feeder with

scissors.

1. The tape leaf is released by raising up the tape leaf while pushing in the catch pins

(one on right side and one on left side). After it is unlocked, raise the tape leaf in

the direction of the arrow as shown.

2. Set the parts reel in the holder. When loading, check that the holes (feeding holes)

in the tape are on the left side as shown.

Setting the Parts Reel (15 inch holder)

Note: The 15 inch type reel holder is only used on 12 mm and 16 mm feeders. It is used only for

15 inch reels which supply aluminum condenser components. Because the 15 inch type

reel holder does not have rollers. It is necessary to use the center pin.
