3. Alert Indications in Instruction Manual
The following summarizes the precautionary items and the location of alert indications in
the instruction manual.
Alert Indications described as " WARNING "
Alert Description Related Items
Never modify the system to undo the interlock. It disables the
interlock function and might cause an injury.

Do not bring the tray magnet close to the area where a
pacemaker is implanted. Otherwise, the pacemaker may be
inuenced by electromagnetic impulses of the magnet, causing
the wearer to faint, etc.

Only qualied personnel should perform the maintenance
work carefully for the machine in compliance with the specied
instructions.

Before performing any maintenance work, be sure to lock the
power breaker and the air source with padlocks.
Designate a person who can have charge of the padlock key.
If the provided padlock is lost or damaged, purchase its
substitute.

When the single tray feeder is set to or removed from the cart,
or the tray feeder itself is moved, two persons should hold the
specied handle and take the greatest care not to drop it onto
anybody's foot.

If you insert your nger or hand into the gap between the main
machine and the cart, created when the cart is installed, you might
get injured due to the movable part.
Take the greatest care not to insert your hand or nger into the
machine while you operate the main machine.

If you insert your nger or hand into the opening left while the tape
feeder has not been installed, you might get injured due to the
movable part.
Take the greatest care not to insert your hand or nger into the

When the tape feeder is replenished, take care not to hit your
head on the single-transfer tray feeder, which might injure your
head.

When the cover is to be opened or closed, open or close it slowly
with the handle held securely.
Take care so that your nger is not caught.

When the cover is to be opened or closed, open or close it to the
end to obtain the damper effect. When the cover is not opened or
closed to the end, the damper effect is not obtained and moreover,

Otherwise, the data of the magnetic card might be cleared or a watch,
etc., may be damaged due to the strong magnetism.

internal devices of the machine after power interception.
Before performing maintenance work, wait until the charge lamps of the
dc power supply and the servoamplier go "OFF" in 10 minutes or more
after the power breaker is set to "OFF.

4. Alert Labels
The alert labels (described below) are used for this machine.
Please read the instructions on each label carefully and check the contents, observing the
actual object.
Be sure to follow the instructions for safety purposes.
These labels should be kept clean and easily legible at a far safe distance.
When a label has deteriorated and become illegible, contact our service department for
the replacement with a new one.
Location of Alert Labels
The alert labels are afxed on dangerous and caution-required areas.
Refer to "Alert Labels and Description" for details.
