type and the
[Teach Fiducial] menu appears.

Smallest Enclosing Rectangle
Select [Smallest Enclosing Rectangle]
Look at the BVM monitor to determine if the rectangle fits exactly the fiducial
(see FIGURE 6 -7)

Tolerance
Select [Tolerance]
The value set here determines how much the area of a detected fiducial may
differ from the area which is specified in the teach data (see FIGURE 6 -9)
That area is defined by the
[Area of Fiducial] parameter, and limited by the
[Smallest Enclosing Rectangle] setting.

NOTE: Common settings range from 10 to 15% on good fiducials; fiducials of less
quality may require a higher value.

Number Of Retries
Select [Number Of Retries]
Refers to the number of retries which are allowed when performing a test meas-
urement of a fiducial.
