6 Troubleshooting Guide
6.1 Not possible to enter teaching mode
→ Check if the AVSP option is enabled. Status LED will light ON continuously if AVSP is
enabled or blinks shortly if vacuum is disabled.
→ Check if machine’s reference run completed. Reference run of machined is required to
perform teaching function correctly.
6.2 Teaching mode: Pin(s) not reset to lowest
stroke
→ Check the all tubing connection and the air supply. The air supply should be 5.0 bar.
→ Check if manual override on solenoid valve is activated. Make sure it is not activated.

→ Check if manual override on solenoid valve is activated. Make sure it is not activated.
→ Check the maintenance program scheduled for pin module. Greasing on internal seal
may be necessary.
6.4 Production mode: Pin(s) moves freely/ not
clamped
→ Check the all tubing connection and the air supply. The air supply should be 5.0 bar.
→ Check if manual override on solenoid valve is activated. Make sure it is not activated.
→ If everything seems all right, activate teaching mode and then follow by aborting it.
Repeat this a few times. Check again. If problem persists, send the pin module unit back
for repair.
