The feeder indexes before the
tray is ready.
The “stop at end” or “ready”
sensor may be stuck.
► Check U1-4 and the sensor.
► Check for free movement of
the sensor arm, and clean it if
necessary.
The micro-controller may be lost
in a program loop.
► Reset by turning the power
off, then on again.
The micro-controller or the moth-
erboard may be bad.
► Replace the micro-controller
or the motherboard.
The feeder stops before the in-
dex cycle is complete (solid or-
ange LED).
The “stop” button has been
pressed, or is sticking.
► Press Reset to clear the
feeder. Check U1-7 and the
stop switch.
► Repair or replace the Stop
switch.
The tray from the magazine does
not reach the “conveyor slow
down” sensor before timeout.
The conveyor belts may be dirty
and slipping.
► Clean the conveyor belts with
alcohol.
The out feed pusher may not
have extended properly.
► Check the pneumatic adjust-
ments for the tray feed push-
er.
The valve block for the out feed
pusher cylinder may be bad.
► Hit the stop button and man-
ually activate the solenoid by
pressing the orange button
on the solenoid.
► Check the valve block and re-
place it if necessary.
The out feed pusher cylinder may
be bad.
► Hit the stop button and man-
ually activate the solenoid by
pressing the orange button
on the solenoid.
► Check the valve block and re-
place it if necessary.
A tray on the conveyor does not
reach the “stop at end” or “ready”
sensor (You see a green LED on
the sensor.)
A tray may be improperly located
in the feeder or warped.
► Remove the tray and push
the Reset button.
Something may be blocking the
free motion of the tray on the con
-
veyor.
► Remove the tray and any ob-
struction.
► Push the Reset button.
The end stop flag may be sticky. ► Clean the pin and conveyor
flag with alcohol.
The “stop at end” or “ready” sen-
sor is made before the “conveyor
slow down” sensor.
The flag on the “ready” sensor
may be sticking.
► Check U1-4 and free up the
mechanism.
The tray from the magazine does
not reach the “stop at end” or
“ready” sensor before timeout (2
seconds after making the
“conveyor slow down” sensor”).
There may be an obstruction on
the conveyor.
► Check for warped trays.
► Check for anything blocking
the motion of the trays.
► Remove the obstruction and
press the Reset button.
The conveyor belts may be slip-
ping.
► Clean the belts with alcohol.

Also important and helpful are the LED status on the operator panel as shown in figure "Control panel"
for troubleshooting:
The die are knocked out of the
tray as the tray is pushed onto
the conveyor.
The action of the out feed pusher
may be too quick.
► Check the settings of the flow
controls.
The die are knocked out of the
tray as the tray reaches the end
of the conveyor.
The tray may be slowing down
too quickly during the “forward
slow down” delay.
► Check the setting for the for-
ward slow down delay.
The forward slow-down sensor
may not be working.
► Check U1-3 and the sensor.
The tray clamp may be moving
too quickly.
► Check the setting of the flow
controls.
The belt guides may be out of
alignment, causing the trays to
bounce.
► Check the alignment.
Problem Possible Cause Solution

1. Green LED = Tray ready
2. Orange LED on = Stop button, flash = error
3. Yellow LED = Inhibit (pause)
