measures carried out, and obligation to present the information to the responsible
authority on request;
Duty for recovery of refrigerants only on the part of certified personnel and companies.
13.2 Recurring checks
In addition to the duties detailed under 13.1, monitoring and inspection of the refrigerant circuit and
pressure vessels is also required over the entire operational life of the cooling unit. This must be
performed or commissioned by the system operator in accordance with national regulations!
As part of the RIEDEL Care agreement, the required tests and accompanying documentation for all
commissioned maintenance can be completed free of charge. If no relevant specifications regarding
retesting are provided in the national regulations, device-specific retesting is required in accordance
with EN 378-4.

and operating unit.
Regulation is based on the main setpoint value.

Frequent, repeated resetting or restarting, particularly in the case of high- and low-pressure
cut-offs, can result in damage to the cooling unit that is not covered under warranty!

14.1 Diagnosis of control and operating unit ST 501
E1 to E4 light up
- When the cooling unit is ready for operation.
UP or DOWN arrow lights up
- In the case of differential regulation, setpoint value limits are configured for switching to fixed-
setpoint regulation.
- If the values exceed or fall short of the set limit values, the relevant LED display lights up.
Display in the case of a diagnosis:
F1 – F8 flashes alternately with the actual value display.
