NOTE
By means of the function "Store MA-file"
only
the newly determined values of the
zero point correction
and
the
minimum position
and
maximum position
of the traversing range of the x and y-axes can be saved to
the current MA-file "REAL.MA" in the case of a change to the axis machine data. All other axis machine data
that may have been changed will
not
be saved even if the "Store MA-file" function is activated.
As the newly determined values are saved to the "REAL.MA" file, the original values are automatically saved
to the "REAL.ALT" file. If the "REAL.ALT" file does not exist yet, it will be automatically created.
Press the ESC key, to return to the SITEST main menu.
1.4 Head
The "Head" menu contains various options for testing the head functions.
To test the head functions, select the
Head
option from the main menu and press the RETURN key.
The "Head" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:

Step star axis to cycle the revolver head by one segment

Remove segment pressing the START button causes the revolver head to advance by one segment
-
Actuate dp1 to turn the segment by 9
The motor of the dp1 drive is activated, all Beros are checked.

Actuate dp2 to turn the segment by 9
The motor of the dp2 drive is activated, all Beros are checked.

Centering no measur. to activate the centering station without any measuring operation taking place
-
Center measurement to activate the centering station with measuring operation taking place
-
Pick up cal. tool to pick up the calibration piece which is in pick-up position under the nozzle
-
Return cal. tool to deposit the calibration piece which is attached to the nozzle
Select the desired function and press the RETURN key.
The selected function is now executed.

NOTE
Prior to selecting any head functions, the RV-head reference run must have been performed, on SIPLACE 80F
machines the IC-head reference run.
Press the ESC key to return to the SITEST main menu.
1.5 I/O Ports
The functions of the "I/O ports" menu serve to selectively interrogate and activate individual bits of the input
and output cards.
From the main menu select the "I/O ports" option and press the RETURN key.
The "I/O ports" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:

Read input to read the selected input bit

Set output to set the selected bit
-
Combi. IN/OUTPUT to select an input and output port group (group of 8) and status display for each
bit of the selected input and output port group

The performance of the "Set output" option may be carried out by adequately qualified personnel only.
If you wish to read an input, select the Read input function and press the RETURN key. The "Read input"
menu is displayed on the screen.

From the "Read input" menu select the port containing the desired bit and press the RETURN key. The
"Port *" menu is displayed on the screen.
Select the bit to be read in and press the RETURN key.
The "Bit *" menu is displayed on the screen.
Press the RETURN key.
The input is read and the respective status of the bit is displayed on the screen.
Press the ESC key three times to return to the "I/O ports" menu.
