1.6.2 Run Parameters
●
If you wish the operation parameters of the turning stations or the operation parameters for picking up and
placing to be displayed, select the menu option
Operation parameter
from the "Miscellaneous" menu and
press the RETURN key.
The "Operation parameter" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
dp1/dp2 to display and edit, if required, the operation parameters "ref. point" and
"distance" for the turning stations dp1 and dp2
-
Pick-up/placement to display and edit, if required, the operation parameters "Distance", "Force",
"Speed", "Acceleration", "Deceleration" and "Positioning mode"

From the "Operation parameter" menu select the appropriate function to cause the operation parameters
required by you to be displayed, and press the RETURN key.
The input menu is opened. It displays the operation parameters of the selected function which can be edi-
ted, if desired.
1.6.3 Machine Configuration

If you wish to set specific machine options, select the
Machine-Config.
option from the "Miscellaneous"
menu and press the RETURN key.
The "Machine-Config." menu is displayed on the screen.

Overview of the Functions:
-
Type of conveyor Menu for selecting the current conveyor type (e.g. left conveyor)
-
Transport mode Menu for selecting the range of PCB lengths for PCBs that are to be processed on
the machine
-
Ceramic s. centering Menu for selecting the type of ceramic substrate centering
-
4x5 IC-Noz. Changer To set the default values for the 4x5 IC nozzle changer

To determine the currently installed conveyor, select the
Type of conveyor
menu option from the
"Machine-Config." menu and actuate the RETURN key.
The "Type of conveyor" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
Right conveyor The fixed side of the conveyor, including calibration piece pocket and integrated
measuring hole for the MA zero point, is located on the right (viewing in the
direction of PCB travel).
Left conveyor The fixed side of the conveyor, including calibration piece pocket and integrated
measuring hole for the MA zero point, is located on the left (viewing in the direc-
tion of PCB travel).

Standard conveyor The fixed side of the conveyor including calibration piece pocket is located on the
right (viewing in the direction of PCB travel). The measuring hole for the MA zero
point is integrated in the setting gauge. (The setting gauge is placed on the ele-
vating table).

Select the type of conveyor installed in the machine and actuate the RETURN key. The selected conveyor
type is displayed on the screen.
NOTES
By selecting the conveyor type you also define for subsequent calibration operations to be performed
where the calibration piece pocket, the MA zero point or the PCB reference corner is located.
The selection of the conveyor type is to be carried out once upon the intital start-up, prior to the perfor-
mance of calibration. transport and mapping functions, or whenever the conveyor and/or the calibration
piece pocket are modified or newly installed.
If a new conveyor type was selected and stored, the positions of the MA zero point, the calibration piece
and the PCB reference corner must be recalibrated because they were assigned default values.

Actuate the ESC key to return to the "Machine-Config." menu.

To set the desired transport mode, select the
Transport mode
menu option and press the RETURN key.
The "Transport mode" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
Standard PCB (460mm) Setting for the assembly of PCBs with a length of 50 - 460 mm.
(If the "Standard PCB" option is activated, PCBs may be located in the input,
center and output conveyors).

Long PCB (508mm) Setting for the assembly of PCBs with a length of 50 - 508 mm.
(If the "Long PCB" option is activated, the individual PCBs will be transported
into the center conveyor section with some time lag).

Super long PCB Setting for the assembly of extremely long PCBs.
(If the "Super long PCB" option is activated, no PCB will be moved into the input
conveyor as long as there is a PCB present in any of the 3 conveyor sections).
This option is currently not supported by SITEST- and station-software.

Select the desired option and press the RETURN key. The selected option is displayed on the screen.

Press the ESC key to return to the "Machine-Config." menu.

Select the
Ceramic s. centering
menu item if you wish to set the ceramic substrate centering type availa-
ble in the machine configuration and press the RETURN key.
The "Ceramic s. centering" menu is displayed on the screen.
