2.3.3 Component Table
The function of individual components of the component table can be tested with the aid of the Component
table menu.
●
From the "Functions" menu select the
Component-table
option and press the RETURN key.
The "Component-table" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
Single functions to test a selected function of the component table in one single operation
-
Continuous run to perform a continuous run on a selected function of the component table
-
Display version to display the version of the component table
-
Waiting time (msec) to define the waiting time when executing the "tape cutter" function in the
continuous running mode

In order to test a single function in one single operation, select the
Single functions
option from the
"Component-table" menu and press the RETURN key.
The "Single functions" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:

Tape cutting unit to actuate the tape cutting unit

Open linear feeder testing function

Actuate lin. feeder to activate the linear feeder

Output to activate the tape feeder

Input to read
-
Track to enter the track number of the component of the component table for which the
function test (in Single functions or Continuous run) is to be performed

From the "Single functions" menu select the
Track
option and press the RETURN key. The "Track" input
field is opened.
●
If you wish to test, for example, a specific linear feeder, enter the number of the track on which the feeder is
set up and confirm your entry by pressing the RETURN key
.
●
Close the input field by pressing the ESC key.
●
Select the function to be tested for the component that is set up on the track entered or that can be
activated via the address of this track (e.g. "Actuate lin. feeder" for the linear feeder that is set up on the
track entered) and press the RETURN key
.
The function will now be executed once.

To test a single function in the continuous run mode, select the
Continuous run
option from the
"Component-table" menu and press the RETURN key.
The "Continuous run" menu is displayed on the screen.
NOTE
To test the functions "Linear feeder" and "Output" in the continuous running mode, it is necessary - prior
to
selecting the continuous run function - to first enter the number of the desired track, by selecting the "Track"
menu option from the "Single functions" menu (see above) and to confirm the entry by pressing the RETURN
key, and subsequently to actuate the ESC key twice to exit from the "Single functions" menu.

Select the function to be tested for the component that is set up on the track entered or that can be activa-
ted via the address of this track and press the RETURN key
.
The function continues to be executed until the continuous run is terminated by pressing the ESC key.

Press the ESC key twice to return to the "Functions" menu.

2.3.4 Width Adjustment
NOTE
The functions of the "Width adjustment" menu are only available if gantry 1 is "active".

From the "Functions" menu select the
Width adjustment
option and press the RETURN key. The "Width
adjustment" menu is displayed on the screen.
NOTE
During the performance of all functions of the width adjustment system, the elevating table must be in the
lowered
position.
Overview of the Functions:

Decrease width slow to adjust the conveyor width in small increments
-
Increase width slow to adjust the conveyor width in small increments
-
Decrease width fast to adjust the conveyor width in large increments
-
Increase width fast to adjust the conveyor width in large increments
-
Calibrate width adj. Determination of the reference conveyor width using a PCB that is exactly
100 mm in width (required for automatic width adjustment).

From the "Width adjustment" menu select the desired function, and press the RETURN key.
The function is now executed on the current conveyor.
NOTE
The value of the gantry position determined can be saved using the main menu option
File Manager

Store MA-file
(see section 1.3).
●
Press the ESC key to return to the "Functions" menu.
