2.3.5 Determination of the Position of the Movable Conveyor Side
To determine the current conveyor width, the position of the movable conveyor side is to be approached.
NOTE
The execution of the "Movable conv. side" function is only possible with gantry 1.
Adjust the conveyor width to that of the 100 mm wide PCB.
From the "Functions" menu select the
Movable conv. side
function and press the RETURN key.
The position of the movable conveyor side is determined and the result is displayed in the lower left corner
of the screen, and will be stored in the "MA-DATE-file.
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.
2.4 Vacuum Board
The functions of this menu permit all required vacuum checks to be performed.
From the main menu select the "Vacuum" option and press the RETURN key
.
The "Vacuum" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
Measure vac.placement to measure the vacuum in the pick-up circuit and display the value
-
Measure vac. reject to measure the vacuum in the rejecting circuit and display the value
-
Turn screwdriver 1 one-time actuation of the screwdriver in the pick-up station
(no display).
-
Turn screwdriver 2 one-time actuation of the screwdriver in the rejecting station
(no display).
-
Step star axis to cycle the revolver head by one segment
-
Measure all vacuum to measure all vacuum values (pick-up and reject circuits) for all segments
-
Show vacuum results to display the measured vacuum values

From the "Vacuum" menu select the desired function and press the RETURN key
.
The selected function is executed.
Press the ESC key to exit from the "Vacuum" menu.
2.5 Continuous Run
This function is designed to perform a complete head test.
NOTE
Prior to starting the continuous run, the respective placement head must have been submitted to a reference
run and the gantry must be so positioned that upon lowering the z-axis the sleeve will either make contact with
the conveyor top edge or a PCB located in the center conveyor.
From the main menu select the Continuous run option and press the RETURN key.
The "Continuous run" menu is displayed on the screen.
Overview of the Functions:
-
Ct.run RV-head to perform a continuous run of the RV-head
-
Cont.run IC-head to perform a continuous run of the IC-head
-

displayed on the screen.
-
Print result to print the results of the head continuous run on a connected printer
-
Reset counter to reset the sequence and error counter
-
Enter head data to open the "Head data" input menu (head number, data, tester's name)
-
Enter parameter to open the menu for the entry of sequence parameters for the head continuous run
(z-sensor path in DIGITS, number of passes up to the reference run, number of
passes up to the vacuum check, with/without centering)
If you wish to enter the head data, select the
Enter head data
menu option and press the RETURN key.
The input menu is opened.
Enter the desired data and press the RETURN key to store the data.
Press the ESC key to exit from the input menu.

menu option and press the RETURN key.
The input menu is opened.
Carry out the desired changes and press the RETURN key to store the changes.
Example: If you enter the figure "100" on the "Reference run" line, this means that the reference
point will be checked after 100 cycles of the revolver head (1 cycle = 12 incremental steps).
If you enter the figure "100" on the "Vacuumtest" line, this means that
a vacuum check will be performed after 100 cycles of the revolver head.
Press the ESC key to exit from the input menu.
Select the
Start cont. run head
function to start the head continuous run and press the RETURN key.
