Press the "EMERGENCY STOP" button and open the protective cover.
Attach the calibration piece so that it is on the nozzle in centered position.
Carefully push the z-axis down onto the coplanarity module.
NOTE
The calibration piece must be in alignment with the eye of the laser. If this is not the case, correct the
positional values in the "Positions" input value and reapproach the coplanarity module as described
above.
Close the protective cover and turn on the control.
From the "Coplanarity function" menu select the
Testing
option and press the RETURN key. The z-axis
moves to the "z-start position". The height of the calibration piece is measured.
From the menu select the
Measure focus height
function and press the RETURN key.
The focus height is measured.
From the menu select the
Measure laser pos.xy
function and press the RETURN key.
The x and y-positions of the laser module are determined.
From the menu select the
Measure z-Delta
function and press the RETURN key.
The height of the focal point is measured in relation to the conveyor top edge.
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.
3.11 Calibration of the Nozzle Changer
The selection menu for the nozzle changer to be calibrated can be opened with the aid of the "Nozzle Changer"
menu option on the "Functions" menu.
NOTE
Verify beforehand that the calibration data for the PCB camera, component/PCB camera
offset and machine zero point have already been determined.
From the main menu select the
Functions
option and press the RETURN key.
The "Functions" menu is now displayed on the screen.

NOTE
The "Cal.noz.chang.compl." function is used if all seven magazines of the nozzle changer are completely
occupied. Moreover, all 12 nozzles must be present at the revolver head.
If the nozzle changer is not completely occupied, the x and y-values must be determined separately for each
magazine using the "Calibrate magazine" function.
Select the
Cal.noz.chang.compl.
function and press the RETURN key.
The PCB camera approaches the measuring holes of all magazines in the nozzle changer and then calcu-
lates from the positions determined the x and y-values for each magazine compartment. If the nozzle
changer is not completely occupied, select the
Magazine [1 .. 7]
menu option and press the RETURN key.
The input field for the magazine number opens.
Enter the desired magazine number and confirm your entry by pressing the RETURN key.
Press the ESC key.
Select the
Calibrate magazine
function and press the RETURN key.
The PCB camera approaches the measuring hole of the selected magazine and subsequently that of the
next magazine and then calculates from the positions determined the x and y-values of the magazine com-
partments.
Select the
Disp. nozzle positions
function and press the RETURN key.
A comparison of the setpoint values versus the actually determined values in x and y-direction is displayed
on the screen for each selected compartment (garage) of the selected magazine.
Select the
Garage [1 .. 12]
menu option and press the RETURN key.
The input field for the garage number opens.
Enter the number of an unoccupied garage and confirm your entry by pressing the RETURN key.
Press the ESC key.

Return nozzle
function and press the RETURN key. The nozzle is returned to the garage.
NOTE
When the height of all nozzle changer garages is determined, the z-position that was read most recently is
saved upon "Return nozzle" or "Pick up nozzle".
Select the
Magazine [1 .. 7]
menu option and press the RETURN key.
The input field for the magazine number opens.
Enter the first available magazine (e.g.: 1) and confirm your entry by pressing the RETURN key.
