2.5.6 Safety instructions for the hand guard on the input/output belt
DANGER OF CRUSHING! 2
The guard must always be set to the height of the circuit board to be processed. The gap between
the guard and the safety bar should be kept as small as possible. The guard is mounted on the
input and output belts of the PCB conveyor.
→ Never reach through the gap into the inside of the machine. There is a danger of crushing
from the lifting table.
→ Adjust the height of the guard at the slots so that the circuit board to be processed can be
carried through.

Do not remove the nozzles in the pick-up/placement position (item 2).
The procedure for removing nozzles manually from the sleeve is as follows:
→ Pace the sleeve from which the nozzle is to be removed to the removal point (item 1).
→ Remove the nozzle from the sleeve here.

2.5.8 Safety instructions for the tape cutter
2
Fig. 2.5 - 5 Safety instructions for the tape cutter
WARNING RISK OF CUTTING! 2
→ Never reach down into the used tape channel (item 1) from above with bare hands, even if
the machine is switched off.
→ Similarly, even when the machine is switched off, do not reach up from below with bare hands
into the ejection opening of the tape cutter (item 2), e.g. to remove waste used tape.
→ To remove waste used tape, it is essential to switch the machine off first and put on very sub-
stantial protective gloves, as the tape cutter bars are extremely sharp.
