Before Use
We are grateful to you for purchasing our flux dispensing unit for the Hitachi direct-drive
modular mounters.
This instruction manual describes the functions, handling, and operations of the flux
dispensing unit for those who have finished the basic training of the chip mounter.
Before operating the unit, please read this instruction manual carefully to fully understand
the instructions and precautionary measures for safety purposes.
After reading this instruction manual, be sure to keep it at hand for your quick reference.

Caution and Warning
Limited Warranty
UIC represents and warrants the following based on the specifications in the instruction
manual as long as this unit is used in accordance with the provided instructions.
(1) Coverage
Should the unit fail or malfunction because of a manufacturing defect in materials
or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge.
(2) Warranty Period
The unit is warranted in normal use for a period of one year (not later than twelve
months) from the date of installation.
(3) Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply in the following cases even within the warranty
period.
(a) Damage caused by failure to provide the specified suitable installation,
operating environment, or maintenance for the unit.
(b) Damage caused by failure to use the specified power source (voltage and
frequency), including abnormal power supply.
(c) Damage caused by pipe corrosions and deterioration due to impurities mixed
into the air supplied by the customer.
(d) Damage caused by corrosions in electrical circuits and deterioration of
optical elements due to ambient air mixed with strong corrosive gas.
(e) Damage caused by hardware, software, and auxiliaries that are not provided
by us.
(f) Damage caused by failure to handle or maintain the unit properly.
(g) Damage caused by any repair work performed by any party other than the
servicing company approved by us.
(h) Damage caused by failure to move or transport the unit properly after
installation.
(i) Damage caused by unapproved disassembly, and modification.
(j) Damage caused by a Force Majeure such as, but not limited to, fire,
earthquake, storm, flood, lightning, strike, labor dispute, riots, crimes,
terrorism, war, radioactive contamination, toxic substance, or any other
incident beyond our reasonable control.
