Caution and Warning
Limited Warranty
UIC represents and warrants the following based on the specifications in the instruction
manual as long as this unit is used in accordance with the provided instructions.
(1) Coverage
Should the unit fail or malfunction because of a manufacturing defect in materials
or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge.
(2) Warranty Period
The unit is warranted in normal use for a period of one year (not later than twelve
months) from the date of installation.
(3) Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply in the following cases even within the warranty
period.
(a) Damage caused by failure to provide the specified suitable installation,
operating environment, or maintenance for the unit.
(b) Damage caused by failure to use the specified power source (voltage and
frequency), including abnormal power supply.
(c) Damage caused by pipe corrosions and deterioration due to impurities mixed
into the air supplied by the customer.
(d) Damage caused by corrosions in electrical circuits and deterioration of
optical elements due to ambient air mixed with strong corrosive gas.
(e) Damage caused by hardware, software, and auxiliaries that are not provided
by us.
(f) Damage caused by failure to handle or maintain the unit properly.
(g) Damage caused by any repair work performed by any party other than the
servicing company approved by us.
(h) Damage caused by failure to move or transport the unit properly after
installation.
(i) Damage caused by unapproved disassembly, and modification.
(j) Damage caused by a Force Majeure such as, but not limited to, fire,
earthquake, storm, flood, lightning, strike, labor dispute, riots, crimes,
terrorism, war, radioactive contamination, toxic substance, or any other
incident beyond our reasonable control.

In no event shall UIC be liable for any warranty other than the express one here and
any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
In addition, UIC is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damages whatsoever,
whether based upon express or implied warranty.
No oral or written information, or advice/suggestion given by Hitachi (its
executives, employees, agencies and all concerned) to the original purchaser or a
third party shall create a warranty or obligation to UIC, regarding the conformity
with the performance of the unit. Formally approved information or advice/
suggestion are excluded.
UIC is not responsible for any damage to the provided application software or loss
of data, arising from any damage to this unit.
About Specification Change
Consult the marketing department or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies for
desired changes in the specifications of this unit.
In no event will we be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential
damages resulting from any modification made without any prior notice in a written form.
About Disposal of Machine
This machine uses flux.
Be sure to wear protective equipment (gloves, apron, and mask, etc.) during the
disposal work.
For the disposal of the machine, dispose of it in accordance with the disposal
method described in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) in the Appendix.
This machine must be handled differently from ordinary trash.
(1) About Disposal of Flux
In accordance with the Laws and Acts related to disposal treatment
and cleaning, conclude a contract with an authorized industrial waste
disposal firm for consignment disposal and entrust the firm with the
disposal.
Treat the containers, etc., in the same way as the above. For details, read
carefully and understand the contents of Material Safety Data Sheet
(MSDS).
(2) About Disposal of Machine
Contact the marketing department sale agency of Hitachi High-
Technologies for the detailed information on the disposal method of the
machine.
