Cleaning of Suppressor Fulcrum Point
Chip components which scatter during the tape cassette setup operation and
enter inside the suppressor from the gap between the suppressor and the chute,
might be accumulated at the suppressor fulcrum point (between the chute under
the suppressor and the body).
Accumulated chip components around this area hinder the suppressor opening
or closing operation, so clean this area diligently.
Reference
Refer to "7.4.4 Component Discharging Section" for the details of
maintenance.

(1) Hold the roller section on the tension lever.
(2) Press the take-up releasing lever and return the tape.
(3) When the tape is begins to return,
return the tension lever.

upper direction with your nger.
(2) Press down the take-up releasing lever and return the taken up cover tape.
(3) Return the stopper of the tension lever so that the cover tape is not loosened
too much, and return the cover tape.

Cover Tape Status Check on the Suppressor Upper Side
Make sure that the cover tape does not rise over the suppressor upper side due
to being too loose.
Notice
In the case that the tape feeder is attached to the machine body with the
cover tape too loose, the cover tape might contact the head and cause
an operation error.
OK Status :
The cover tape does not rise after
the tension is loosened.
NG Status :
The cover tape rises because the
tension has been loosened too much.
