2.8 Retrofit the SIPLACE S-25 HM / S-27 HM
2.8.1 Work at the location
: Dock the component trolley out of the placement machine.
: Shut down the placement system and switch it off.

The nozzle changer and tape guide channel must be removed if more than 2 Traystak feeders are
fitted. 2

: If necessary, unscrew the hand guard beneath the left-hand safety door since it will no longer
close.

: Loosen and remove the two screws on the tape guide channel at the desired location.
The two hexagonal spacer bolts have to remain fitted.

: Fit the shortened tape guide channel (only necessary if 1 or 2 Traystak feeders are fitted).
: Fit the adapter on the component trolley.

: Move the component trolley into the placement machine.

As you dock the component trolley, make sure that it does not collide with the tape guide channel
or nozzle changer (if fitted). 2

: Screw the component trolley tight in the machine and connect the component table clamp -->
Risk of head crash.

2.8.2 Working on the component trolley
: Remove the feeder fixing on the component trolley if present.
2.8.3 Software
: Switch on the machine and switch to the SITEST program.
: If necessary, deactivate the relevant nozzle changer under Gantries.

If you deactivate the nozzle changer, you will not be able to use the nozzle reject device. 2
