5.7 Support of MAT-Label Version 2.4 (ZVEI Sepc. V2.4)
The MAT-Label V2.4 is supported in Setup Center 3.3 as defined in the ZVEI Spec Data Matrix Code
Label. It is also supported as PDF417 format.
Setup Center 3.3 delivers the fixed, predefined regular expression for the MAT-Label.
Setup Center stores the entire raw information of the Barcode and additionally extracts all data for which
Setup Center offers existing database attributes.
The following MAT label fragments are stored together with the relevant barcode fragments in Setup
Center:
The following MAT label fragments are not stored as single fields in the Setup Center database.
However, the contents of these MAT label fragments is not lost but it is stored in the
"RawComponentBarcode" field in the Setup Center database.

5.8 Support of Datalogic 2D Barcode Reader
With SC 3.3 the Datalogic 2D barcode reader PM8500 is supported. The new barcode reader can read
2D as well as 1D barcodes.
5.9 Changing Fill Level of Previous Reel During Refill on the
Machine
Changing fill level of previous reel during refill on the machine.
During a component refill action on the line it is now possible to change the fill level of the previous reel
on the refilled track via the scanner (changing the length of previous reel).
5.10 MES-Process Interlocking Supported in Setup Center
An external Manufacturing Execution System (MES) can block and unblock material lots managed in
Setup Center.
For the whole MES-Process Interlocking solution also Traceability 3.1 and OIB 2.1 is required.
The MES Process Interlocking feature requires a license for each SIPLACE line.

A part of the existing interface is lost because of the omission of the views named above. Due to
the modified database scheme, however, it is not possible to offer the views any longer.
6.1.4 Windows Vista / 64 Bit Operating Systems
The WLAN modules Scalance W788/W744 cannot be configured on 64 Bit operating systems with
the PST tool.
The driver for the CAN bus card that is required for operating an X or SX docking station does not
support 64 Bit operating systems.
6.1.5 Splice Points
When using splice sensors don't repair damaged packaging units with splice because repair splice
points cannot be distinguished from the normal splice points.
