If the Line Manager option is added, the EPU and line can be selected for the line configuration in
the shop floor setup.
The operations of some functions may be changed depending on this line configuration setting. In
the explanation of the above, EPU modeis described when EPU is selected, and line mode is
described when the line is selected.
Only when the Line Manager option is added, it is described or is indicated for the
chapter No. in the explanation that is effective in the selected line mode.
1.2.3 External output function
This function is an option of Line Manager.
If the external output function is added, the machine information obtained from JaNets can be
output externally.
For details, refer to Instruction Manual for the external output function.
1.2.4 Data Manager
Data Manager is an option of Basic Editor. The descriptions and titles of functions you can use when
this Data Manager option is enabled are marked in this Manual.
Only in case of Basic Editor, its functions that can be used when a Data Manager option is installed
are different from those when two options, Line Manager are Data Mange are installed.

Some functions work differently depending on whether the setting of connection to Data Manager is
enabled or disabled. If the description is effective only when the system is connected to a server, it
is described so or is shown together with the corresponding section number.
1.2.5 Equipment Manager
Equipment Manager is an option of Line Manager. The functions, which can be used when the
Equipment Manager option is enabled, are provided with a mark in the description or title in this
document.
When you use Equipment Manager, you can use the following functions: production line
configuration including a printer and an inspection machine, online PWB production and linkage
between machines.

1.2.6 TraceMonitor
TraceMonitor is an option of Line Manager. Functions you can use when the TraceMonitor option
is enabled are described in this manual or the corresponding mark is put to the respective titles for
the functions so that you can know it immediately.
When you use TraceMonitor, it collects information on each device to accumulate the information.
When you want to just refer to information collected with JaNets with JaNets installed on another PC,
you do not need the TraceMonitor option.
