* You can select neither Front Prioritynor Rear Priorityas the feeder attachment area of a line
that includes FX-3/RX-6 series machine. You cannot select either one for FX-3/RX-6 series
machine even though you select theIndividual Machineradio button.
Figure 7.7-10 Area option (Stick)
When the stick area specification is overlapped with another optimization option as a matter of
condition, the priority order is as shown below.

Other optimization option
Contents
Balance option
Both conditions are taken into consideration. To the machine in which
“0” is specified for Balance option, no stick feeder is assigned.
Area option/All
Both conditions are taken into consideration. Supposing that "All" is
Rearand "Stick" is Front”, a stick feeder cannot be assigned to both
Frontand Rear.
Multi-optimize/Cluster option/
Succeed of the previous cluster
result:
The succeed of the previous cluster result has priority.
Even if Stick is specified to None”, a stick is arranged in the same
position when the stick is arranged in the previous cluster. If there are
many succeeded feeders and a stick cannot be assigned to the speci-
fied area, the optimization will result in a failure.
Multi-optimize/Cluster option/
Non-Cluster Area
Area option (stick) has priority. Even if parts are stick parts classified as
out of cluster object”, a stick feeder is arranged in the specified area of
Area option (stick). If it cannot be arranged, the optimization will result
in a failure.
Reference feeder/
Reference feeder setup
Reference feeder setup has priority. Even if Stick is specified to
None”, a stick is arranged in the same position when a stick is ar-
ranged by Reference feeder setup.
All: The mounting range of all feeders is specified.
Stick: You can specify the respective area for each
machine in the line.
Line: You can specify the entire line for the feeder attachment area.
Individual Machine: You can specify the respective area for each
machine in the line.
At selection of Line”, it is possible to select All”,
Front”, “RearorNone.If Noneis selected, no
stick feeder will be assigned to this machine.

Placement Order option
This option allows you to specify the component pick-up and placement order. When you select
the Place Orderoption in the option selecting area, the following screen appears in the optimize
option setting area”.
Figure 7.7-11 Place Order option
The machine types that can use the options
Consider the component type and heightand Place components for a small-diameter nozzle
first” are effective options for others than RX-7 series.
To RX-7 series, Consider the component type and heightand Place components for a
small-diameter nozzle first” are not applicable.
Consider adjacent componentsis an effective option only for RX-7 series. For others than RX-7
series, Consider adjacent componentsis not applicable.
For a line in which RX-7 series is positioned on the down-stream side and others than RX-7 series
are positioned on the upper-stream side, any placement order option cannot be specified.
When you check the Order placements from smallest
to largest nozzle sizecheck box, the following set-
tings are enabled:
Consider on a line basis: Specify whether to con-
sider use of a small nozzle when the Optimize
application assigns component placement points
to machines.
Consider on a machine basis: Specify whether to
consider use of a small nozzle when the Optimize
application is performed for each machine.
"Calculate neighbor parts relation" --
When this option is enabled, the group
of components that are narrowly
neighbor is kept all together to place
components sequentially from
low-profile one.
The component with a shielding case
enables this function. The value of
narrow neighbor judgment distance is
used for a narrow neighbor judgment.
When consider the Component types and heightsis checked,
the following setting is made effective.
Component types and heights: In optimization division, it is
set whether the part
