Remedy
: Remove any chip component or foreign substance such as debris attached onto the
sprocket and completely clean the sprocket.
Cause : Chip component or foreign substances including debris have been
attached onto the sprocket and the sprocket does not rotate.
Remedy
: Remove any chip component or foreign substance such as debris attached on the chute
and completely clean the surface of the chute.
Foreign Substance
If the taping component is mounted with any foreign substance attached, the suppressor
might be deformed or a pick-up error occur.
Therefore, clean it.
Cause : Because an alien substance such as a chip component or debris has
been attached to the sprocket, the sprocket cannot rotate.

Remedy
: Make sure that there is no twist in the tape or that it’s not been caught in the reel, and
then, load the tape again.
In the case that the tape perforations are not aligned, cut the tape end and load the tape
again.
Tape Twist
Cause : The loading operation is stopped in the course of the loading operation.
9.4 Cover Tape Take-up Action not performed
Remedy
: Make sure that the tape is not left in the cover tape processing unit. If the tape is left,
remove it and load the tape again.
Cause : The loading operation is not available at all.
