4.2.6 Minimum Pitch Returning Operation
Note
In the case of the minimum pitch return, the tape is not fed in the rst start
operation. This is because servo-ON processing is performed for the tape feed
servo-motor to return to the home position from any other position.
In this case, repeat the operation within 1 second.
The servo ON condition is continued for 1 second.
Procedure
(1) Press the button to select the lane.
(2) Press the
button and at the same time, press the button.
(3) Within 2 seconds, release your nger from the
button only and keep
pressing the
button.
(4) Using the ON/OF operation of the
button, execute the minimum pitch
returning operation.
Repeating the ON/OFF operation of the
button can continue the
minimum pitch returning operation.
(5) Release your nger from the
button.

4.2.7 Continuous Feeding Operation
This operation repeats the minimum pitch feeding continuously.
Procedure
(1) Press the button to select the lane.
(2) Press the
button, and while holding it down, press the button.
While both the
button and button are being pressed at the same time,
the continuous feed is performed.
(3) Release your nger from either of the two buttons.
At that time, the minimum feed pitch operation is ended.
Note
In the case of slack cover tape, when the button is pressed (cover
tape tension detection sensor OFF), the cover tape take-up operation is
preceded.
4.2.8 Loading Operation
This operation is used to execute the tape automatic loading operation.
Set the end of the tape to be loaded, to the specied position and perform the
following operations.
Procedure
(1) Press the button to select the lane.
(2) Keep pressing the
button for one second.
When it is detected that the button has been held down for 1 second, the
loading operation starts.
The tape is taken in the feeder automatically and tape setup is completed.
The automatic tape setup work shortens the time it would have taken to do it
manually.
Note
Startup Conditions:
The tape detection sensor (2) has been turned ON.
The tape has not been setup.

4.2.9 Unloading Operation
This unloading operation retrieves the loaded tape for collection.
Pull the loading suppressor to this side on the lane where the tape is to be
unloaded, to release the stopper.
Procedure
(1) Press the button to select the lane.
(2) Press the
button, and while holding it down, press the button.
Note
Startup Conditions:
The tape detection sensor has been turned ON and the tape has been setup,
or the tape detection sensor has been turned OFF and the tape has been
setup.
The tape is retrieved and when the tape end is released from sprocket (1) and
sprocket (2), pull out the tape to this side by hand.
Note
Sufcient reverse rotation time of the tape feeding motor (servo-motor) has
been secured to enable the tape collection.
Pressing any operation switch button can forcibly end the unloading
operation after the tape has been collected.
While the teeth of sprocket (1) and sprocket (2) are engaged with the
perforations on the tape, do not pull the tape forcibly.
Doing so might deform the perforations and the tape cannot be setup in the
correct feeding position when the tape is attached again.
