The SERIO 8000 automatic screen and stencil
printing system is specially designed for printing
of very large substrates. The SERIO 8000 features
the exceptional EKRA ease of use and exibility
which are unmatched. The printer can be used
for solder paste or glue applications onto super
large substrates with a size up to 1000 x 610 mm
(40 x 24 inches).
The screen and stencil holder has a exi-
ble design which allows it to be used with
virtually any kind of stencil or screen with
size up to 1270 x 1700 mm (50 x 67 inches),
without using of additional adapters.
The patented optical positioning system EVA™
(EKRA Vision Alignment System) features 2 high-
resolution cameras with “Look-up + Look-down”
technology for reliable recognition of low contrast
ducials and surfaces.
Thanks to the closed-loop regulation of the dual
squeegee print head, the print pressure stays
constant throughout the complete printing
process and it is independent from the substrate
characteristics and the print parameters.
With the optionally available automatic 2½ D
post-print inspection, the location and quality of
the printed glue or solder paste can be checked
and - compared to the traditional 2D-Systems -
a qualied feedback in regards to the printed
volume of the pad and possible height deviations
is directly determined.
Das automatische Sieb- und Schablonendruck-
system SERIO 8000 wurde zum Drucken von sehr
großen Substraten entwickelt. Einfachste Bedie-
nung und Flexibilität sind EKRA-typische Merk-
male, welche auch dieses System auszeichnen. Der
Drucker kann für Lotpasten- und Kleberdruckappli-
kationen auf XXL-Substraten mit einer Größe bis zu
1000 x 610 mm (40 x 24 Zoll) verwendet werden.
Die Schablonenaufnahme erlaubt den exiblen
Einsatz praktisch aller Siebe und Schablonen bis
zu einer Größe von 1270 x 1700 mm (50 x 67 Zoll),
und dies ohne Verwendung zusätzlicher Adapter.
Das patentierte optische Positioniersystem EVA™–
EKRA Vision Alignment System mit 2 hochauf-
lösenden Kameras mit “Look-up + Look-down”
Technologie ermöglicht sicherstes Erkennen auch
wenig kontrastreicher Marken und Oberächen,
und trägt damit wesentlich zu einem reibungs-
losen Produktionsablauf bei.
Der einmal programmierte Rakeldruck bleibt dank
der Closed-Loop-Regelung der beiden Druckköpfe
über dem gesamten Druckweg konstant, unab-
hängig von Substratbeschaffenheit und Druck-
parametern.
Mit der optional erhältlichen automatischen 2½ D-
Drucknachkontrolle kann die Lage und Quali-
tät der Kleber- oder Lotpastendepots überprüft
werden, und – anders als bei sonst üblichen 2D-
Systemen–unmittelbareinequalizierteRückmel-
dung über das gedruckte Volumen des Pads und
etwaige Höhenabweichungen ermittelt werden.

Des Weiteren sind in der EKRA 2½ D-Inspektion
eine Kurzschlusskontrolle sowie eine Schablonen-
unterseiteninspektion beinhaltet.
Der Drucker ist mit einem Transportsystem für bis
zu 10 kg schweren Substraten und einer Schablo-
nenunterseitenreinigung ausgestattet
Das User Interface SIMPLEX macht die Bedie-
nung des Drucksystems schnell, einfach und kon-
trollierbar.DieOberächeistintuitivüberGesten-
steuerung bedienbar. Anhand eines Touchscreens
kann die jeweilige Funktion direkt angetippt und
ausgeführt werden.
Dank der verbesserten Ergonomie und Nutzer-
führung von SIMPLEX werden Schulungszeiten
minimiert und Bedienabläufe erheblich erleichtert.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Live-Ansicht des
gesamten Substrates, welche den Bediener bei
der Programmerstellung visuell unterstützt.
Furthermore, the EKRA 2½ D option, incorporates
a short-circuit inspection (bridging) and stencil
underside inspection (clogging).
The printer is equipped with a transport system
for substrates with a weight of up to 10 kg and a
stencil underside side cleaning.
The SIMPLEX user interface makes the operation
of the printing system fast, easy and controllable.
The interface can be operated intuitively using ge-
stures. With the aid of a touch-screen the respec-
tive function can be directly tapped and executed.
The improved ergonomics and user guidance of
SIMPLEX minimises training times and makes
operating processes much easier. Particularly
noteworthy is the live view, an overview of the
entire substrate, which supports the operator
visually during programming.
