3 New Features in SIPLACE Explorer 2.7
3.1 Support of SIPLACE SX4
SIPLACE Explorer 2.7 supports the new placement machine SIPLACE SX4.
If a production line is imported from OIS via the Line Configuration, the values for the machine types will
automatically be set in the Import OIS Lines dialog box. These values are read in from the SIS
database. This is only possible if the recipe and the production line were downloaded in advance.
3.2 Updating the Website E10 State by the Hour
This page shows a bar chart for the selected machine with the current status for each hour within the
evaluation period.
Up to now, the displayed data were updated at the end of each hour.
In SIPLACE Explorer 2.7 the data are updated at the beginning and at the end of a shift even if the shift
change does not take place at top of the hour.
3.3 Updating the Website Finished Panels
This page displays an overview of the produced boards per machine on an hourly basis within the
evaluation period.
Up to now, the displayed data were updated at the end of each hour.

4 System Components and Configurations
SIPLACE Explorer can either be installed in SIPLACE LAN or distributed via SIPLACE and client LANs.
Users not wishing to install the complete SIPLACE Explorer program on one computer can distribute the
individual components among several computers. When distributing the individual components, part of
the SIPLACE Explorer application is installed on the line host PC. This contains the components
described below.
