From "Camera calibration plate FCCS digital
+" [03047943-xx] version -04 onwards, you can also
add a calibration standard for measuring the camera
soiling.
If you already have the "Camera calibration plate
FCCS digital +" [03047943-xx], you can use an
upgrade kit to add the "Check camera soiling" func-
tion.
This upgrade kit contains the required contrast stand-
ards, plus a new FCCS tray assembly, with additional
pockets for storing the contrast standards.
Position 8 and 9 are the new pockets for the two con-
trast standards. There is a fiducial (sticker) between
the two pockets. The software uses this fiducial to re-
cognize the new TRAY for checking camera soiling. At
the same time, this fiducial is used as a contrast
standard for checking the PCB camera.
NOTICE
Tray cover
If your existing FCCS tool is version -01, with cut-off corners on the tray, you will also need
to order a "cover assembly" 03012053-02! The FCCS version -01 trays were produced until
approx. November 2011. If the recess cut in the version -01 tool case does not fit, this can
be cut to fit with a decorater's knife.

NOTICE
Differentiation of the versions
Versions 01 and 02 of the camera calibration tray only differ in the shape of the tray. Ver-
sion 01 is only suited for machines with conveyor systems that are not equipped with a clip
stopper. The improved version 02 can be used on all machines.
Version 03 has been introduced because there were some problems with the SIPLACE
symbols at the back of the white standards in Version 02. Version 04 supplements the cam-
era calibration with the soiling recognition function, provided you have station software
712.1.
Two new contrast standards were introduced with this function and the camera calibration
tray was extended, see also chapter. 4.6 "Checking the camera soiling with contrast stand-
ard in the calibration tool pocket (without FCCS)" [}71] or TI 2019-02D06/TI 2019-02E06.
These will be queried by the software before the measurement takes place.
