Safe operation of module
In spite of all the safety precautions taken by the manufacturer, failure to use the module as prescribed
can result in severe physical injury and/or considerable damage to equipment!
For the machine to be safe, it must be used correctly by qualified personnel and all warnings must be

CAUTION
Maintenance - Further information
For further information on how to complete the tasks please visit the experience area on

CAUTION
Before performing any cleaning and checking work or service work, a procedure of locking
and tagging must be followed. The procedure, when followed correctly eliminates the pos-
sibility of an employee being injured.
Please see further safety instructions on lock out tag in chapter 2 of this user manual.
CAUTION
For safety instructions of specific modules on the machine, please read the instructions in
chapter 2 of this user manual.
CAUTION
After switching off the machine, please wait for 5 minutes before doing work on the power
supply module.
CAUTION
Only qualified personnel
These cleaning and checking tasks may only be carried out by appropriately qualified per-
sonnel.
Caution, as used in this user manual, means that slight injury or damage to equipment
may occur if the caution instructions are not followed.

CAUTION
Filter elements
The cleaning and checking intervals given for inspecting and replacing the filter
elements only apply to the specified compressed air quality (see
Section 3.2.4 on
page 105
). If other qualities are used, the intervals should be shortened accord-
ingly.
CAUTION
Ethanol
Always wear safety goggles and gloves when using concentrated ethanol to clean
modules.
If ethanol should accidentally get into your eyes, rinse your eyes immediately with
water.
CAUTION
Consumable materials
Observe the safety data sheets for consumable materials.
CAUTION
Cleaning and lubrication
Always use ethanol for cleaning - do not use solvents.
NEVER use compressed air to clean units inside the placement machine or modules.
