8 Collection Events

8.1 Error Messages as Error Events

Error Messages are reported to the GEM HOST as Error Events (the event name begins

with FM_ ). There are Single Events for each Error Message and a Joint Error

(FM_GENERAL, CEID 1001024) for all Error Messages that is accompanied by the CEID

of the Single Event as the Error Code. The user can use the enable/disable mechanism

to select a display type. Use of the FM_GENERAL is recommended for new HOST

applications.

In contrast to the GEM Interface of SIPLACE S20/S23/F4 machines, the special Error

Events (Event Name : FM_…) feature no predefined report. The General Error Event

FM_GENERAL (CEID 1001024) is made available with a predefined report.
