Something is wrong with the movement of the ATC slide plate. In this
case, the following cases can be possible.
A) The speed controller of the slide plate driving cylinder is wrung to its
minimum limit. Please loosen the speed controller of the slide plate
driving cylinder.
B) The installation position of the slide plate ON/OFF sensor is wrong.
There is a possibility that the sensor gets ON before the slide plate
fully opens/closes. Please re-adjust the sensor to where it gets
ON/OFF properly.
C) There is an obstruction that prevents the slide plate from being
opened/closed. Please examine if there is anything caught in near
the slide plate.
D) The air supplying to the slice plate driving cylinder is not correct.
Please examine if the air pipe is properly connected.
E) The nut on the shaft of the slide plate driving cylinder is loose and the
connector part of the slide plate plays too much. Please examine if
the nut is tightened up enough.
⑤
The ATC coordinates or the nozzle change height is not correct. If you
change the coordinates or the height, please select [Setup(S)] [MS
parameter] and follow the Maintenance manual. For MS parameter, it is
limited that who can change the parameter by the user level setting.
E610040 “The nozzle is too short (over 10.0mm). Please check the nozzle”
[Cause] When checking installation status after a nozzle is installed, the nozzle was
detected at a position where the nozzle is not supposed to e detected if it is
installed properly. A nozzle which is shorter than a normal nozzle is installed.
[Treatment] There is a possibility that the nozzle is damaged. Please examine the nozzle.
E610041 “The nozzle width does not meet that of standard nozzle”
[Cause] The outer shape of auto-recognized nozzle did not coincide with that of the
standard nozzle. Therefore, nozzle number could not be et automatically. As a
temporary nozzle number, the smallest option nozzle number is set. The cause
may be that a particular nozzle is set or that the window of the laser sensor is
dirty.
[Treatment] 1. If a particular nozzle is set.
If a nozzle number of the particular nozzle is the same as that of another
particular nozzle that has already been set, please re-enter the concerned
nozzle number.
2. If a standard nozzle is set.
①
There is a possibility that the window of the laser sensor is dirty. Please
clean the window of the sensor. You can check the dirt of the window with
the following procedures. Select [Manual Control] from the menu bar, and
then select [Control(C)] [Head(H)] [Laser Control(L)]. Select a concerned
laser sensor in ‘Control’ unit, and then select ‘Image displaying’ from
‘Control Item’ frame. By enabling ON, an image data will be shown.
②
There is a possibility that something is on around the tip of the nozzle so
that the right nozzle width can not be detected. Please examine the
nozzle.
③
If any of the treatments above do not apply and if you are sure that the
nozzle is a standard nozzle, please enter its nozzle number manually.

E610042 “A shadow is detected while nozzle detection after returning
nozzles”
[Cause] A nozzle was detected at a position where normal nozzles are not supposed to be
detected in the installation status checking which is performed after the nozzle
returning. There is a possibility that the nozzle could not be returned right or the
window of the laser sensor is dirty.
[Treatment] 1. If the nozzle was returned properly
There is a possibility that the window of the laser sensor is dirty. Please clean
the window of the sensor. You can check the dirt of the window with the
following procedures. Select [Manual Control] from the menu bar, and then
select [Control(C)] [Head(H)] [Laser Control(L)]. Select a concerned laser
sensor in ‘Control’ unit, and then select ‘Image displaying’ from ‘Control Item’
frame. By enabling ON, an image data will be shown.
2. If the nozzle was not returned properly.
Please take the nozzle off the head part and set it on ATC. The following
causes are possible for why the nozzle could not be returned correctly.
①
There is an abnormal nozzle. Please examine if there is any obstructions
on the installation part on the head, or if it is damaged or deformed
②
Something is wrong with the movement of the ATC slide plate. In this
case, the following cases can be possible.
A) The speed controller of the slide plate driving cylinder is wrung to its
minimum limit. Please loosen the speed controller of the slide plate
driving cylinder.
B) The installation position of the slide plate ON/OFF sensor is wrong.
There is a possibility that the sensor gets ON before the slide plate

C) There is an obstruction that prevents the slide plate from being
opened/closed. Please examine if there is anything caught in near
the slide plate.
D) The air supplying to the slice plate driving cylinder is not correct.
Please examine if the air pipe is properly connected.
E) The nut on the shaft of the slide plate driving cylinder is loose and the
connector part of the slide plate plays too much. Please examine if
the nut is tightened up enough.
③
The ATC coordinates or the nozzle change height is not correct. If you
change the coordinates or the height, please select [Setup(S)] [MS
parameter] and follow the Maintenance manual. For MS parameter, it is
limited that who can change the parameter by the user level setting.
E610043 “Head traveling coordinates are within the head interference
range(SLOW)”
[Cause] The left and right heads can not move at high speed since they interfere each
other when they travel to the specified ATC position simultaneously. Some
program versions in the machine may be clashing with each other.
[Treatment] • Please turn off the power supply of your machine and reboot it.
• If the error occurred after the installation or the versionup of the software, you
need to re-install the software.
• If the treatments above do not work, there is a possibility that MPX board(s) in
the machine is broken. You need to replace it(them) with new ones.

E610044 “Head traveling coordinates are within the head interference
range(STOP)”
[Cause] The left and right heads can not move at high speed since they interfere each
other when they travel to the specified ATC position simultaneously. Some
program versions in the machine may be clashing with each other.
[Treatment] • Please turn off the power supply of your machine and reboot it.
• If the error occurred after the installation or the versionup of the software, you
need to re-install the software.
• If the treatments above do not work, there is a possibility that MPX board(s) in
the machine is broken. You need to replace it(them) with new ones.
E610045 “ATC(L) slide plate can not be shut down”
[Cause] ATC slide plate has to be closed when trying to change nozzles but it was open.
The process of closing the slide plate yet the plate did not get closed. This error is
likely to happen when the lock valve of the solenoid valve, which drives the slide
plate remains closed. The following causes are also possible.
①
The air is not being supplied properly.
②
The slide plate that slides left and right to open and close the plate in the ATC
unit does not work properly.
③
The sensor which detects the position of the slide plate is not tuned well or
broken.
[Treatment] Please select [Manual Control] from the menu bar, and then select [Control(C )]
[Other(O)] [ATC Control(A)]. Set ‘Control Unit’ to ‘light ATC’, and select ‘Slide
plate Control(A)’ from the ‘Control Item’ frame’ to open/close the slide plate.
Please perform one of the treatments below according to the result you get.
1. Slide plate works properly.
1.1 The ‘Slide plate OFF sensor’ in the ‘Status’ displaying frame gets ON/OFF.
The speed controller of the Slide plate driving cylinder might be wrung too
much toward its minimum limit. Please loosen the controller.
1.2 The ‘Slide plate OFF sensor’ in the ‘Status’ displaying frame does not get
ON/OFF.
①
There is a possibility that the Slide plate OFF sensor was adjusted to
out of the Cylinder’s movable range. Please re-adjust the sensor to
where it gets ON/OFF.
②
If the treatment1 does not work, there is a possibility that the slide
plate OFF sensor is broken. It could be that the wiring came off the
connector part, that a contact pin in the connector part is broken, that
the wiring got cut off, or that the sensor itself is broken. Please
examine the wiring and connector. If any of them are broken, you
need to replace them with new ones.
③
If the treatment2 does not work, a PCB is broken or the wiring
between the PCBs is bad.
2. Slide plate does not work.
①
There is a possibility that the lock valve of the solenoid valve, that drives
the slide plate, is closed. Please make sure that the lock valve of the
solenoid valve is opened all the way.
②
There is a possibility that a nozzle is not installed in the ATC correctly and
that prevent the slide plate from sliding properly. Please see if nozzles are
correctly installed in the ATC.
③
There is a possibility that a component or implement got caught in the
sliding part of the slide plate and that prevents the slide plate from sliding
properly. Please see if there is anything on the slide plate.
④
There is a possibility that the air supplying pipes to the slide plate driving
cylinder have a problem. It could be that the speed controller is fully
