13.3.12 Trackball
Remove dust and/or foreign substance stuck to the inside of a trackball.
Turn the ring anti-clockwise (in the arrow
direction).
Remove the ring and ball.
Place the ball on soft material such as
soft cloth so that it cannot rotate.
Use soft cloth to clean the section
which is in contact with the ball as
shown in the left figure.
Clean the ball also (No moisture).

13.4 Lubrication
13.4.1 XY-shaft direct drive unit
(1) X-shaft direct-drive unit
Use a grease gun to insert grease from the grease nipple of the X-shaft
direct-drive unit.
(2) Y-shaft direct-drive unit
Use a grease gun to insert grease from the grease nipple of the Y-shaft
direct-drive unit.
Note: Never lubricate the bearing of the X- and Y-shaft driving belt or motor (with
machine oil or grease).
WARNING
To prevent the body from injury which can be caused by accidental
activation of the machine, cut off the power to the machine before
starting to work.

13.4.2 Transport screw shaft (Shaft)
Screw shaft (one for left and the other for right)
Apply grease to the entire surface of the part marked with *.
WARNING

13.4.3 Transport guide shaft
Guide shaft (one for left and the other for right)
Apply grease to the entire surface of guide shaft.

13.4.4 PWB stopper part
Apply grease to the holes marked with *.
