2.3 Required tools
Prepare the following tools and items necessary for maintenance.

Oil syringe for nozzle buffing
Used to supply turbine oil (VG32).
Used for greasing of the bevel gear, etc.
Nozzle cleaning wire Used to clean nozzle holes.
Phillips screwdriver Large, small
Slotted (flat-blade) screwdriver Large, small
Phillips precision screwdriver #0, #1 (Used to replace nozzle leaf springs and air valves.)
Flathead precision screwdriver Used when replacing the O-ring
Hex wrench set 1 set
Precision wrench set Used for maintenance of spline shafts.
Grease gun Used to supply grease
Air blow tool Used for cleaning
Ultrasonic cleaner Used to clean nozzles.
Vacuum ASSY Used to clean top surface of feeder plate.
Special hex wrench
Used to remove the FNC locate pin. A hex wrench (0.7) can be also used as
alternative.

Grease (lithium-based grease: NSL) Used to lubricate X, Y and W axes.
Turbine oil (VG32) Used to lubricate nozzles.
Lint-free cloth Prepare a cloth that does not raise dust.
Square cloth Used to prevent parts from being lost or contaminated. (2 sheets)
Cleaning alcohol Use IPA (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol.
Paper cup or tray Used for cleaning the inside of spline shaft.
Permanent marker Used for marking when replacing conveyor belt.
Cotton swab stick (15 cm) Used to clean camera prism and lighting unit.
Lens cleaner, Cleaning paper Used to clean camera righting unit.
Blower brush Used to clean camera righting unit.
Cleaning kit Used for cleaning the inside of spline shaft.
Leaf spring installation tool Used to install the leaf springs.
Cleaning wire Used for cleaning nozzle block.

Daily maintenance items
Before beginning work
In most cases, maintenance should be performed with the machine’s power turned Off.
However, some maintenance works are performed under emergency stop conditions with the machine’s power
turned on. In such cases, ensure adequate safety and press the emergency stop button before beginning the
maintenance.
The power is turned on during maintenance when moving axes or machine operation check are required
depending on the maintenance work while the machine’s power turned on.
In the case also, ensure adequate safety before beginning the maintenance.
Make sure that the following conditions are met when operating the machine.

Operating conditions
1. Supply air pressure is kept at correct pressure.
2. All safety covers are closed.
3. All feeder exchange carriages are securely clamped when they are used with the machine.
4. Nozzles and other units are attached in place.

NOTE
The description "Cancel the emergency stop." is in the procedures of this manual. It means "releasing the emergency
stop and pressing the [Ready] button to turn the servo on".
