5.7.4 Selection of Mounting Type
Select “Normal” in the mounting type.
5.7.5 Position Setting
Setting of Expand Size
- Decide the expanded size for planar information with respect to the floor (PCB or
reference).
- Include the floor surface from all the directions of left, right, top and bottom.
- Mark the expanded area with yellow dotted lines.
Setting of Height Position
- Set the position to calculate the average height of the electrode part at both ends.
Mark the height position with red dotted lines.
Use Ref Manual (Setting of Reference Surface)
- Set manually the region for planar information.
- It is possible to set the height and size together or separately by using the check box.

Detailed Setting
- Set the detailed position for measurement regions of the reference surface and height.
- It is possible to designate the position with a mouse by using „Click Pos‟ button.
5.7.6 Part information Measurement
Click „Get Info (Measurement)‟ to measure information on the width, depth and height of parts.
* Click „Get Info to display 3D Model, and confirm through the model if the information is normally
measured. (In case it is not measured normally, it is impossible to identify the form of 3D
Model.).

On the basis of the currently measured values, the minimum and maximum heights are
determined automatically.
- Minimum Height < Height < Maximum Height
- The minimum height is 1/2 the current one and the maximum height is +100um above
the current height.
- If the measured height is below the minimum height or above the maximum height, the
part is treated as a poor quality one.
Length Slope
- If the long-axis direction deviation between left and right heights is greater than the
length slope, the part is treated as poor quality.
- This is used to detect fine lift.
Width Slope
- .If the short-axis direction deviation between left and right heights is greater than the
width slope, the part is treated as a poor quality.
- This is used to detect fine lift.
Rotation Angle(option)
- If the rotational angle of chips is greater than the Rotation Angle, the part is treated as
poor quality.
5.7.8 Inspection Results
21 The inspection results are displayed in „3D Mounting‟ item for the Type.
- The average height corresponding to the regions of 1 Pos, 2 Pos, 3 Pos, and 4 Pos.
Length Slope: The long-axis direction deviation of left and right heights
- Width Slope : The short-axis direction deviation of left and right heights
